Cylinder
I made this cylinder on the wheel. It's uneven at the top. I think that's because I didn't completely center the clay at the begining. I glazed it but it didn't turn out very nice. Oh well :/

My Box
I made this box by rolling clay out and cutting 5" by 5" squares. I decorated the box with an ocean theme. The sides you see are a fluke (whale's fin), a pink fish and the top has an octopus. The octupus was really hard to make and a lot of his legs are broken. That makes me sad :(
Math Mug
This a mug I made for my math tutor, Justin. The last mug I tried to make didn't have a handle; it fel off. Before the mug got fired it fel over so when the clay dried it dried a little deformed. despite the deformity, Justin still liked it :)

Coil Pot
This is a picture of Todd and tanner with the coil pot I made. To make it I rolled clay into coils and stacked them on top of each other. The coils create a texture. I used white low fire glaze to paint it. Obviously, Tanner and Tdd like my coil pot. they are very supportive of my artwork.
My First Mug
I wanted to make this mug for my math tutor, Justin. He drinks a lot of coffee so I thought it would be a fitting gift. I wanted it to say "4 out of 3 people have problems with fractions". Unfortunately, the handle fell off. I used engobe to make the mug green and I scratched the words in with a needle tool. It took a long time and I'm sad that the handle fell off :(Tuesday, November 1, 2011
My First Pinch Pot!
This is Tanner and TA Todd, and my pinch pot. Tanner happens to be holding my awesome pinch pot. I used the bottom of a pencil to make circular indentations around the pot, making a textured pattern. I used high-fire glaze to add some color. Although, it kinda turned out ugly. Oh well.

Harold
This is my seahorse, Harold. Last year, Tyler drew me a picture of a seahorse and it's on the front of my APES binder, so i decided to make him my ceramics project. I used wire and newspaper and paint to make him. He's really cute and purple. Purple is Tyler and mine's favorite color. :) yay so cutte. <3
